While blockchain technology has dominated global news headlines in recent years, cryptocurrency appears to be the most popular, as most people believe that cryptocurrency is the only thing this technology has to offer. However, with the arrival of the Ethereum network and other blockchain infrastructures, this technology service delivery has transcended the original intent for the creation of Bitcoin from just a simplified payment solution system to myriads of use cases that affect the common man, and further seeks to address critical areas eligible to provide more meaningful solutions to citizens worldwide.

So the questions are:

1-Aside from digital currency, which is the most popular to many, is Blockchain a problem-solving technology?

2-How can this technology be used to eliminate gaps in various industries?

3-How can we foster a single, open source of information that is recorded in an unchangeable format and can be relied on?

In this article, we will briefly discuss how thought leaders in nations can use this technology to safeguard the nation’s interests in a more reliable, secure, cost-effective, time-saving, and efficient manner, as well as to address some common issues aimed at beefing up security and speeding up national development, among other things.

The Problem:

The world is changing so fast that we barely have time to learn from our past. As a result, we are starting to reinvent things over and over-(Godswill Akwawealth Udo).

Unfortunately, that’s why you have to pulse for a second and ask yourself this

important question in life, where is the world going next?-(Juju Boy).

To avoid getting lost in the rabbit hole, I quickly borrowed these above statements from these brilliant men to enable me to further lay the groundwork for how I am about to describe the problem

Humans have a habit of either criticizing technologies that have the potential to change the course of history or delaying becoming early adopters in order to fully utilize them.

We ignore it at first, only to find ourselves struggling to fit into its reality by attempting to reinvent what we outright ignored.

However, it is always important to know where the world is going by paying close attention to global trending events, investigating and testing them to see if they truly can deliver what they promise, as the Bitcoin Blockchain has demonstrated.

The civic responsibility to exercise, record, store, and secure all relevant information about their citizens is one of the many important administrative functions performed by governments around the world. This census includes the official counting of a country’s population as well as the recording of various parts that include information about individuals, families, and businesses in terms of their activities, assets, and so on.

Until recently, most of the information and data obtained from previous exercises were recorded in paper databases, making data management extremely difficult to handle, expensive, and vulnerable to other drawbacks, even in developed countries.

So, how can blockchain be used in censuses to help build nations?

In this section, we will look at the need for a blockchain-based national population census as well as some of the foundations it provides for governments to develop policies for their populations.

A blockchain-based infrastructure can be built to encode all public records in a digital ledger distributed across synchronized computer systems, preventing citizens’ data from being altered for fraudulent purposes.

It has been difficult to deal with forgery and identity theft. As a result, digitizing processes, procedures, and public information on the blockchain can make data tamper-proof, preventing similar instances of criminal activity and other vices that thrive on the flaws of traditional methodologies.

The Canadian blockchain census in 2019 demonstrated that the blockchain space is a tried and true solution-based infrastructure. Other countries can use this burgeoning ecosystem to inform and support policymakers and business leaders in their efforts to build a nation.

The blockchain is a cutting-edge technology that is evolving at breakneck speed. And if you are a leader, your ability to leverage this trending, solution-providing system and tool up to solve real-world problems and shape your country’s future is only as good as your ability to leverage this trending, solution-providing system and tool up to shape your country’s future.

We are confident that this technology will solve even more complex problems and bring sanity back to our world like never before. So, if implementing blockchain technology can become a national problem-solving strategy, the answer is not limited to only public records, as we discussed in this post. It comes with a plethora of use cases and opportunities that can have a positive impact on how we do things and how they turn out to provide us with a solution.

Get ready for this disruption! As we look forward to national action plan for blockchain across countries in the world that would uniquely position themselves to play a leading role in this technological boom, you won’t want to miss it, believe me!!
